And not as easy to do as I expected. Monarch butterflies in various flight positions, at various altitudes and directions - what could go wrong? It improved a little when I left it alone for a while, maybe by morning it will be better. I have a few more layers of painting in mind, so success is still possible.

I got a retro chocolate box at a yard sale (25 cents!) and it turned out to be full of professionally dried flowers. This is my second painting using them.  The first one was sold right off my easel before it was even finished. 

OK, this is a good start for the day, let's see what else happens today...

Well, that finished faster than I expected after waiting to see what it wanted me to do. Silly me - it was not my brother-in-law and Heidi wanted some action. She is swinging her tail at the milker (as usual) and ready to kick over the milk pail (as usual.). Cow attitude.
